executive salaries

The following article describes the sources of income for some of our president’s advisors:

It appears that executive salaries are never excessive if you are connected to the White House.

For those of you who do not know Valerie Jarrett’s resume here are some interesting facts:

1987 - Deputy Corporation Counsel for Finance and Development City of Chicago appointed by Mayor Harold Washington.

1990 - Deputy Chief of Staff for Mayor Richard Daley.

1991 - Valerie Jarrett adds a new hire to her staff: Michelle Robinson, then engaged to Barack Obama.

1992 - Valerie Jarrett is named City of Chicago Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Development.

1995 - Valerie Jarrett leaves city government is hired as CEO of The Habitat Company. The Habitat Company is one of the largest residential property managers in the Midwest. This company has a significant position in government subsidized housing. A large portion of this firms revenue is generated through contracts with the Chicago Housing Authority.
