Obama team reverses union transparency

This news article discusses recent changes in regulations made at the Department of Labor:

The changes reduce the annual filing requirements for labor unions and their officials. The form that labor unions are most opposed to is the LM-30 and can be found at this link:

Note the list of new appointments to the Department of Labor that have previous employment in labor unions.
Also note this quote from the above blog:

“With the Labor Department itself disclosing that investigations into union corruption yielded over 1,000 indictments, 929 convictions, and more than $93 million in court-ordered restitution from 2001 to 2008, one would expect a need for greater union transparency, not less, right?”

It is clear to me that organized labor has taken over the federal government.
