New York City is anticipating a heavy snowfall. City officials are advertising to hire emergency snow shovelers. Unbelievably, applicants for this job must present 2 forms of identification.

The current mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani, is a proud member of the Democratic Socialists of America. Their party platform contains this plank:
UNIVERSAL SUFFRAGE.
Extend full voting rights to people with criminal convictions and noncitizens and establish statehood for Washington D.C.
It seems that Mamdani and his fellow Democratic Socialists support verifying identification when it comes to competition for unionized jobs, but not when it concerns voting eligibility.

ReplyDeleteIt shows the Democrats and the socialist mayor are hypocrites when it helps them they go for it, but if it doesn’t help them then they’re against it, but it seems Democrats have been working like this for a very long time. It’s time for the opposite party start showing this and questioning it and start doing something about it
